BEYOND THE SOLD SIGN · 19 Matson Avenue, Regents Park
The sale that had to wait
At 19 Matson Avenue, early offers were followed by months of waiting for a subdivision—and keeping an owner travelling overseas informed.

The sale that had to wait
Multiple offers came at the first open home at 19 Matson Avenue. Completing the sale would take considerably longer. For the owner of the Regents Park property, a subdivision had to be finalised before the transaction could reach its conclusion. Claudia Escobar describes an owner who had already waited a long time—and a sale that required several more months of patience while that process ran its course. “Being able to finally sell the property was a significant milestone for him,” she wrote. Claudia and Rebecca Escobar handled the sale. Their account centres on the work between finding interested buyers and reaching settlement: keeping people informed, maintaining confidence and staying with a transaction while an important part of it remained unfinished.
Interest at the beginning
Claudia recalls receiving multiple offers at the very first open home. In her account, getting the pricing strategy right helped generate that early interest. But offers were only one part of the story. The subdivision process still needed to be completed. Team Escobar’s later settlement update describes a long settlement while waiting for the new title to be issued following the subdivision. The early response and the eventual completion were separated by a wait that the agents had to help manage. “One of the biggest challenges was keeping the sale together while waiting several months for the subdivision to go through,” Claudia wrote.
Keeping in touch across time zones
The owner was travelling around the world during the process. Keeping him informed meant working around different time zones as well as the progress of the sale itself. Claudia describes patience and consistent communication as central to maintaining everyone’s confidence. The task was to keep things moving through a lengthy process while ensuring the owner remained informed from wherever he was travelling.
Reaching the milestone
Natgroup’s sold listing records the property as sold on 20 October 2026. Team Escobar’s settlement reel also identifies 19 Matson Avenue and describes the wait for the new title. For Claudia, the result carried the significance of the time that had gone into reaching it. “It was very rewarding to see everything come together, especially knowing how long the owner had waited to reach this point,” she wrote. “For us, it was about more than just selling a property; it was about helping him move on to the next chapter with a great result,” she wrote.
